TAMPA, Fla. — March 2024 is coming in hot this weekend with a full platter of events for the first full weekend.
Whether you’re running for a good cause or running from line to line at a festival, the things you can do this weekend are exhaustive:
- What: The exhilarating 6-mile race enters its 7th year in 2024, offering people the chance to climb up 200 feet above Tampa Bay. One hundred percent of all proceeds toward the race will support the Armed Forces Families Foundation, which has raised more than $2.6 million in its existence.
- When: The morning of Sunday, March 3

- What: Strawberries, strawberries and more strawberries. You can find the sweet fruit to pair with social events, contests, top-name entertainment, parades and watersports of all things. The Florida Strawberry Festival is the ultimate celebration of American agricultural culture.
- When: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 29 to March 10

- What: You can enjoy live folk music while in their swamp getup for the festival’s Swamp Monster Contest if you so desire.

- What: A showcase of yachts with seminars for topics like fishing is available to guests .
