An update from TECO:
3,550 customers without power in West Tampa and Plant City after a circuit was struck by lightning. TECO says it should be fixed in about an hour.

- Citrus: 1,734
- Hernando: 18
- Marion: 2,236
- Pasco: 84
- Pinellas: 7,553
- Polk: 54
- Sumter: 48
6:15 a.m.
An update from Duke Energy:
- Pinellas: 3,405 without power; estimated time for restoration is 12:15 p.m.
- Marion: 4,039 without power; estimated time for restoration is 12:15 p.m.
- Citrus: 1,672 without power; estimated time for restoration is 1 p.m.
- Pasco and Hernando: Only a few dozen reporting loss of power
- Sumter: Only two customers reporting power loss
An update from Florida Power and Light:
- Manatee: 1 customer affected
- Sarasota: No reports of power loss
6:05 a.m.
Citrus County has about 1,625 outages and Marion has 3,580 customers without power. New Port Richey, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Hillsborough counties have no power outage reports as of now.
