PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — As the Tampa Bay area braces for Hurricane Milton, local officials are issuing county-by-county guidance for residents who will be affected by the storm.

EVACUATIONS
Pasco County government announced a mandatory evacuation for zone A, B, C and if you live in manufactured homes, mobile homes or an RV.

SHELTERS
You can find an interactive map with the latest shelters and their occupancy here.
"Special needs only" locations are for "residents whose medical condition may require the use of electrical equipment, oxygen, dialysis, or individuals with physical, cognitive, or medical conditions that may require assistance from medical professionals." These locations do not provide continuous bedside nursing.
The following locations are being used as shelters and they are all pet friendly.

CLOSINGS
Services
Pasco County Fire Rescue emergency service response for all of Pasco County is suspended. If you're in danger, call 911 and give them all the details of your situation. Crews will get to you when they can.
Pasco County emergency officials are asking everyone to shelter in place.
Schools

County parks, preserves and recreation centers
All Pasco County parks, recreation, boat ramps and natural resources recreation complexes are closed until further notice.
GoPasco Public Transit
All fixed route services are suspended through Oct. 9. and Oct. 10
County offices
All Pasco County offices are closed through Oct. 9. Senior Services will close all centers and will not be providing meal delivery or congregate meal service beginning until further notice. Pasco County libraries and animal services are closed until further notice.
Sandbag Sites
Pasco County Emergency Management will close county sandbag sites on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at noon.
