LITHIA, Fla. — Although Milton came and went, rivers across the Tampa Bay area are still experiencing flooding, adding another headache to residents who are already displaced.
Flood warnings were issued across the region as water invaded roadways and homes.

Rivers with major flooding
Hillsborough River
This river at Morris Bridge is currently experiencing major flooding and is forecasted to continue with this until early Wednesday. Water is about 37.5 feet high, and the flood stage, which is the water level at which a river begins to overflow, for the river is 32 feet. The Hillsborough River crested at 38.16 feet on Saturday night, so the water levels will continue to go down.
The river near Zephyrhills at State Park reached up to 17.14 feet, cresting early Friday morning.
Withlacoochee River
The river at US 301 Trilby in Hernando County is currently at 18.3 feet but is expected to crest at 19 feet at 2 a.m. Thursday. The part of the river in Pasco County is currently at 11.15 feet and expected to crest at 13.1 feet Friday afternoon. The part in Citrus County is experiencing moderate flooding with water levels rising very little more before cresting on Saturday.
Hernando County officials are urging residents in this area to "leave now," according to a Facebook post. Officials said a shelter is still open at the Enrichment Center at 800 John Gary Grubbs Blvd. in Brooksville and is pet friendly if residents need a place to evacuate to.
The county also constructed an emergency road, so residents can evacuate.
Cypress River
The river at State Road 54 Worthington Gardens is at 14.7 feet high but crested at 15.08 feet on Sunday. The flood staff is 8 feet, so water levels were almost double.
Rivers with moderate flooding
Anclote River
The river in Pasco County put a local community underwater with waters rising to 26.57 feet, six feet above the flood stage. It is currently at 21.6 feet and going down after cresting Friday morning.

Alafia River
This river in Hillsborough County also inundated a neighborhood with floodwaters when levels got up to 24.34 feet high, which was more than 10 feet above the flood stage.

Peace River
The river will experience moderate flooding at two locations: at State Road 60 near Bartow and at State Road 70 Arcadia.
Myakka River
With water levels at 8.5 feet, this river is experiencing moderate flooding but expect to go down.
