Breeze announces 6 new routes out of Sarasota Bradenton Airport

The airport will use Breeze Airlines to fly travelers to new stops, including Westchester, Long Island and Syracuse, New York.

SARASOTA, Fla. — Breeze Airways is offering six new destinations for travelers of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport beginning this fall.

The new destinations are:

  • Westchester County-New York, NY (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, starting Oct. 31)
  • Akron-Canton, OH (Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Nov. 20)
  • Portland, ME (Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Nov. 20)
  • Long Island-Islip, NY (Thursdays and Sundays, starting Nov. 21)
  • Raleigh-Durham, NC (Mondays and Fridays, starting Nov. 22)
  • Richmond, VA (Mondays and Fridays, starting Nov. 22)
  • Syracuse, NY (One stop/no change of plane BreezeThru service, Mondays and Fridays, starting Nov. 22)

The airline will fly people using its low-cost, nonstop service. Breeze also offers 35% off roundtrip base fares when tickets are purchased by Aug. 9, 2024, for travel from Aug. 28, 2024, through Feb. 4, 2025, and from April 28 through May 13, 2025.

This comes as Breeze Airways expands its reach in the Tampa Bay area, having just recently expanded from Tampa International Airport to Pensacola.

Breeze doesn't charge for flight changes or cancellations up to an hour before departure. Breeze Airways offers free family seating, a la carte pricing and up to 24 months of reusable flight credit, which are all available on the airline's website.

The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport also recently expanded its reach through Avelo Airlines, adding its seasonal flight to Philadelphia and Delaware.

Before the new launch, Sarasota only flew Breeze out to Hartford, Connecticut and Providence, Rhode Island.
