Haines City police looking for 'endangered' 77-year-old man

Authorities say he might have connections to the Bartow area.

HAINES CITY, Fla. — Investigators with the Haines City Police Department are asking for help to find a missing 77-year-old man who is considered endangered.

John Scaife was last seen between 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Savannah Court Assisted Living Facility where he lives. Investigators believe Scaife left the facility on his mobility scooter in an unknown direction. 

"He has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, requiring constant medication and medical attention," Haines City police wrote in a statement.

While the 77-year-old is still missing, authorities say he might have connections to the Bartow area.
