Tampa police say 19-year-old Jaimartez Young turned himself in to authorities on Friday afternoon.

TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police arrested a second teen in connection to the shooting near Armature Works that left four people hurt, including three innocent bystanders who were shot.

Tampa police say 19-year-old Jaimartez Young turned himself in to authorities on Friday afternoon.

He is charged with premeditated first-degree attempted murder with a firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm in public.

The state filed a motion for pretrial detention, which will be heard on Friday.

Police first arrested a 17-year-old on Wednesday in connection to the shooting. He is charged with second-degree attempted murder with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

Investigators said the 17-year-old was identified through witness testimony and surveillance video, which showed him firing shots in the direction of two people.

It's not clear if police are searching for any more people of interest in connection to the Tuesday afternoon shooting.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. in the area of North Ola Avenue and West 7th Avenue.

According to Tampa police, two groups of teenage boys believed to be between 13 and 17 years old were near Stones Throw, a restaurant that's part of Armature Works, when they started arguing on Tuesday afternoon. Eventually, the confrontation led to gunfire.

A 47-year-old woman was shot in her arm, a 28-year-old woman was shot in her ankle and a 36-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet, police said. The first two women were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK. The third woman was treated at the scene.

After the shooting, police said both groups of teenagers took off from the area. One person who police believe was involved took himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is also expected to be OK.

Investigators said each group of teens shot at each other. Detectives are working to figure out where the guns that were used came from and if they were stolen.

Authorities asked that anyone who may have been in the area and captured video on their cell phone contact them at 813-231-6130 or submit an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) or via TIP411.
