HUDSON, Fla. — Four people have been arrested after employees of a Hudson bar were pepper sprayed and robbed this week, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

Hurtt also was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and kidnapping, and Steven Snow was charged with kidnapping and battery on a person 65 years or older.

On Monday, deputies were told of an armed robbery at Sam's Sports Bar in Hudson. Employees said at about 8 a.m. two suspects entered the business. One had a gun, the other had pepper spray.

One suspect used the pepper spray on a 71-year-old employee. The other suspect struck a worker in the head with his gun, according to affidavits.

Then the suspects forced three workers into a cooler, taking items from them and money from the business.

Surveillance video showed the suspects getting into a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with white stickers in the rear window and leaving the scene. Deputies learned through tips that Hurtt's grandmother owns a vehicle matching the description.

On Monday, a witness said they heard Hurtt admit to robbing the bar and having a large amount of cash. Then on Thursday, witnesses told deputies they had heard Steven Snow admit to robbing the bar, and he was worried his nephew, Terrance Snow, would get in trouble.

Deputies said when they interviewed Terrance Snow, he told them he had driven the vehicle and was paid $50.

Deputies interviewed Steven Snow, who they said told them he had met with Bamberger the day before. Bamberger said he worked at the bar and drew a diagram of the business.

Steven Snow said Bamberger told him where the money was and that he would leave the office door open.

Deputies said they found text messages between Hurtt and Steven Snow discussing the crime.
