HUDSON, Fla. — A Pasco County restaurant was closed today after staff members were robbed before the eatery opened Monday morning.
In a Facebook post, Sam's Beach Bar said a few staff members were pepper-sprayed and beaten up -- but everyone is OK.
The bar is located on Clark Street in Hudson. Deputies say the incident happened between 8:00 and 8:24 a.m.
"We have the utmost faith that our awesome Pasco County Sheriff's [Office] will catch these guys and bring justice," the bar wrote on Facebook. "Until then, we will need tonight to settle and pick up the pieces and be ready to get back to business tomorrow."
Authorities have not publicly said what was stolen.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said two men entered the business, and they were armed with a handgun.
The first suspect is described as a white man, possibly in his 30s. He was 6-foot-tall with short, dirty blond hair, blue eyes, tattoo sleeves on both arms and a dark shirt.
The second suspect was described as a white man, around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7. Investigators think he might be in his 20s and have light brown hair.
The suspects drove away in a dark-colored, possibly blue, four-door SUV that might be a Chevrolet, according to law enforcement.
