ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman is facing charges after authorities say she is responsible for a deadly St. Petersburg hit-and-run that killed a woman back in June.

St. Petersburg police say 58-year-old Rosalyn Fuller was arrested Sunday after investigators determined she was the driver of a Honda Odyssey that hit and killed 62-year-old Kathy Repke.

The crash happened on the evening of June 25 on 4th Street North near 70th Avenue North.

Fuller didn't stop to help Repke and kept driving, police said. Repke was later rushed to the hospital where she died.

Initially, officers said they were looking for Fuller because she may have had information about the driver.

At some point, Fuller reportedly did come forward and spoke with officers. However, police at the time said they were still actively searching for the car's driver and Fuller was not taken into custody.

On Tuesday, authorities once again said they were looking for Fuller after issuing a warrant for her arrest.

Fuller is charged with hit-and-run involving death and tampering with evidence.
