ORLANDO, Fla. — Evil supernatural forces will come to life as fans enter the world portrayed in the "Insidious" film franchise during this year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

The movie tells the story of a family being haunted after their son slips into an inexplicable comatose state after being possessed by a demon. Fans will get to experience the movie in real life as they walk through the attraction and encounter familiar settings and scares from the movie.

Visitors will start the experience by stepping through the iconic red door, where the tormented spirits and demons are waiting. Fans will get a look at The Red-Faced Demon, the KeyFace, the Bride in Black and the Man Who Can't Breathe, who are all characters from the franchise.

The attraction is based on the five movies and will take guests through "The Further," which is a world where ghosts and demons live. The first movie came out in 2010, and the most recent one hit theaters in 2023.

In June, the park announced it would have a haunted house based on the movies "A Quiet Place" and "A Quiet Place Part II," which are about a family trying to survive a post-apocalyptic world with a sightless creature that preys on anything that makes the slightest noise.

Both attractions will open on Aug. 30 and tickets are available to purchase on their website
