Troy Meyer went into Day 6 of the Tournament of Champions on Tuesday night with one win while Ben Chan and Yogesh Raut each had two.

Meyer was in the lead for most of the game, going into Final Jeopardy with $19,800. Yogesh Raut was in second place with $16,600 while Ben Chan was third with $3,200.

The Final Jeopardy clue was about "a human gland important in the immune system" and only one contestant got it right.

Chan got it right, doubling his score to $6,400. Raut got it wrong, finishing with $13,399.

Meyer also got it wrong with a large wager that landed him in third place with $6,399.

Yogesh Raut secured his third victory and, in turn, was named the winner of the 2024 Tournament of Champions.

Who is Troy Meyer?

We first met Tampa music executive Troy Meyer back in January 2023 when he took home a whopping $214,802 with a five-game Jeopardy! winning streak.

Last year, 10 Tampa Bay's Miguel Octavio sat down with Meyer who called his 'Jeopardy!" appearance a "dream come true."

"It was all just a bit of a blur," Meyer said. "It happens so fast."

And for Meyer, "Jeopardy!" is much more than just "America's Favorite Quiz Show" — it's an important part of his love story.

He met his wife Genevieve Sheehan on a website dedicated to the game show. They kept in touch as friends until he saw her compete on the show in 2009.

"It's sort of the strangest way to like see someone in person for the first time," Meyer said, laughing.

Meyer dedicated his initial "Jeopardy!" experience to his mother, who passed away in 2022. She raised him as a single mother and dreamed of watching him compete.
