CLEARWATER, Fla. — While damages from Hurricane Milton may have canceled this year's Clearwater Holiday Jazz festival, music fans in the Tampa Bay area will still have a chance to get out of the house and start swingin'.
The 34th Annual Suncoast Jazz Festival will return from Friday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, organizers announced in a news release.
From New Orleans-inspired jazz and modern acoustic to swing and Brazillian, organizers say this year's event will feature "national and international JAZZ GIANTS."
"Our hearts go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Milton,” Suncoast Jazz Festival Director Joan Dragon stated in the release. “We look forward to hosting jazz fans once again and offer the comfort of LIVE music with performances by national and international JAZZ GIANTS. We’re excited to showcase these talented musicians on three stages over three days and nights."
Tickets for this year's festival can be found here.
"A variety of admission tickets are available with six options ranging from: $40 (after 6 p.m.) up to $275 for three days of non-stop music," organizers stated.
Some of this year's headliners include:
- Trombone sensation New Orleans vibraphonist Jason Marsalis
- Wycliffe Gordon
- Grammy-nominated guitarist Diego Figueiredo
- The New Black Eagle Jazz Band
Local acts from the Tampa Bay area will also be featured at this year's festival, including:
- Trumpeter James Suggs

The event will reportedly kick off Friday, Nov. 22 with a "Nola-style" Parasol Parade near the poolside at 11 a.m. A Friday Night Swing Dance Party will also be happening at 6 p.m. Live music will go on until midnight.
