HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Tampa Bay area deputies are no strangers to Hollywood’s high-definition cameras. The Pasco County Sheriff’s office joined "Live PD’s" law enforcement posse in 2017 and spent three years handcuffing accused bad guys on TV.
Now, Hernando County is getting ready for the grime and glamour.
According to a sheriff's office Facebook post, deputies have already started recording for episodes of "Live PD: Wanted."
It’s a docuseries offshoot of A&E’s popular cop show that’s all about showing the daily grind of life in law enforcement.
“I think you’ll enjoy seeing a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes when we go after a fugitive,” Sheriff Al Nienhuis said in the post. “I think you’ll be impressed”
Hernando County will start making appearances on the show on Thursday.
