ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Increasing heat and humidity continues to allow for a few diurnally driven showers, especially inland, as we make our way through the second half of the week.
Wednesday: We stay in a slight summertime-like pattern as temperatures make a run for the upper 80s by the afternoon with another chance for a few daytime-driven pop up showers for the afternoon and early evening hours, especially inland.
Thursday: With more energy added to the atmosphere we could hear a rumble of thunder or two. There is going to be more isolated showers returning as daytime highs climb in the upper 80s.
