Tarpon Springs High School has large hole open on campus
A large hole opened up Friday morning on the Tarpon Springs High School campus.
The hole is near the school's culinary building. The hole appears to be close to a sidewalk, and photos show chunks of grass had fallen in the opening filled with dirt.
Pinellas County school district spokesperson Lisa Wolf-Chason said a staff member noticed the hole around 6:45 a.m. Friday before students arrived. The district facility staff is responding and will evaluate what the hole is and how to proceed.
