Flooding reported in parts of Tampa Bay amid heavy, persistent rain
Persistent rain brought flooding Thursday morning to the Tampa Bay area, and the rain is expected to continue throughout the day.
10Weather Meteorologist Grant Gilmore said a stationary boundary will remain draped over northern Florida, keeping a stream of showers and storms moving from the Gulf into much of the Florida Peninsula. Gilmore said more widespread showers and thunderstorm activity would develop into the early afternoon.
