Florida Food & Brews Festival 2019
The England Brothers Park in Pinellas Park will be filled this weekend with more than 30 restaurant options, food trucks and plenty of craft beer and wine from around the state. There will also be live music, stand-up comedy, a ninja obstacle course, a food fight and dozens of local vendors and non-profit organizations. Admission is $15 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free. Proceeds from beer and wine sales benefit CASA St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg Fine Art Festival
The 6th annual art festival comes to South Straub Park again this weekend and with more than 130 artists from around Florida and the U.S. Browse pieces from collections of fine art and crafts, digital art, painting, jewelry, metalwork, sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodworking and more. Admission is free to the festival on Saturday and Sunday.

The two-day music festival brings tons of local seafood and live music to Coachman Park in Clearwater. Southwest Florida Heritage Festival at Crowley Museum
Step back into Florida history with an immersive festival at the Crowley Museum & Nature Center. Dachshund Derby
Come see dozens of short-legged dachshunds race to the finish at the 3rd annual Doxie Derby. There will be 48 “wiener racers” and 12 “wiener wannabe” racers. The event hosted by the Florida Wiener Dog Derby will have all registration proceeds benefit a local dachshund rescue. Post time is 3 p.m. Free to watch the races.

Bay Area Renaissance Festival
The Renaissance Festival is getting romantic this weekend with a chocolate festival and wedding wars. There’s also a fencing competition. If you’re looking for a place to dress up in medieval attire and catch a joust, the lot next to MOSI is the place for you. The 16th-century European village is filled with live entertainment, contests and more than 100 crafters and vendors.
