ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. — Tropical Storm Kyle formed Friday afternoon off the eastern seaboard of the United States.
This was mostly a weak “fish” storm as it moved away from the United States and further into the northern Atlantic before becoming post-tropical early Sunday morning.
Kyle passes Hurricane Katrina as the earliest Atlantic “K” storm on record. Unlike Katrina, Kyle was not a threat to the United States.
