Andrea becomes a weakened, post-tropical system

Once a subtropical storm, Andrea is a shell of its former self.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Andrea, we hardly knew you.

The National Hurricane Center issued its last advisory on the Atlantic disturbance, calling it a "remnant low" and expects it to dissipate by Wednesday morning.

As of the 5 p.m. Tuesday advisory, Andrea was located about 230 miles west-southwest of Bermuda and moving east-northeast at 8 mph.

Its maximum sustained winds were listed at 35 mph.
