The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for northeastern Pasco County and western Polk County.
The warning will be in effect until 9:15 p.m.
The NWS says a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located around 8:46 p.m. near Zephyrhills. It was moving northwest at 15 mph.
Anyone living in the area should take cover now.
