TAMPA, Fla — > Watch Tropical Storm Eta coverage from 10 Tampa Bay.
Tropical Storm Eta is causing some issues for the Tampa Bay area, from storm surge issues to tornado warnings.
Damage reports are beginning to come into our newsroom, including from Sarasota County. A roof was blown off a home around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Venice.
Firefighters responded and found the roof torn off the unoccupied manufactured home at Firenze Avenue E. and Cockrill Street in the Municipal Mobile Home Park.
No injuries were reported. City workers placed a roll-off dumpster on the loose debris to secure it through the night and prevent further damage.
