Pasco baby narrowly escapes injury when tree falls on house

A baby had a narrow escape during Friday's storms in New Port Richey.

Maria Agaiby was sleeping in her crib when the nursery ceiling came crashing down, missing her by inches. A massive tree had fallen on the house.

Maria was not injured.

She and her family will have to stay the night in a hotel, but that's a small inconvenience compared to what they could've lost.

"Thank God. Thank God," said her mother, Marsel Agaiby.

Marsel Agaiby is grateful her daughter was not hurt.

The National Weather Service has confirmed a F1 tornado hit New Port Richey.
