TAMPA, Fla — It was another wet day around Tampa Bay on Tuesday, but some parts of the area got a little more rain than they could handle.
Video sent to 10 Tampa Bay shows multiple cars rolled into a ditch during this evening's showers. Viewer Amanda Diaz, who sent the video, said the flooding took place near south Clark Ave. between Knights and Bay View in South Tampa.
Numerous flood advisories were issued throughout the day in parts of Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Scattered storms started inland and rolled towards the bay in the late afternoon. Radar estimated that the area where the video was taken experienced one to three inches of rain.
Meanwhile, parts of northeast Hillsborough County received closer to two to four inches of rain.
