The system will move north with no expected impact to Florida

Invest 94L was several hundred miles northeast of Puerto Rico Monday morning. It is poorly organized, but it will move into an area for better development in the next few days.

The National Hurricane Center gives the area of disturbed weather a 60 percent chance of becoming a tropical depression or named tropical storm within the next five days.

This system is forecast to move northwestward at about 15 mph over the southwestern Atlantic today and on Tuesday, and then stall
several hundred miles southwest of Bermuda by the middle to later part of the week.

If the storm becomes named, it will become Tropical Storm Josephine. The earliest Atlantic 'J' storm on record is Tropical Storm Jose on August 22, 2005.
