In preparation for the incoming tropical weather, local school districts have announced some closures and cancellations.

Hillsborough County
Schools are closed Monday through Wednesday to convert schools into shelters, according to an X post.
Pasco County
Officials announced that all schools and district offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday as a precaution due to Milton.
All extracurricular activities, athletic events, and after-school programs are also canceled for these days.
Pinellas County Schools
All schools and offices will be closed from Monday through Wednesday. All sports and school activities will be canceled, according to an X post.

Manatee County Schools
There are no cancellations for this county.
Sarasota County Schools
Schools will be closed from Monday through Wednesday in preparation for a possible shelter opening.
