TAMPA, Fla. — So many around the Tampa Bay region are continuing to pick up the pieces as hurricane recovery enters its second week following Milton's landfall.

For those in Hillsborough County, more help will be available Friday. The nonprofit, Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB), will hand out thousands of free hurricane cleanup kits. The organization says that semi-trucks have been delivering supplies to the organization's hurricane distribution center all week, and now, those supplies are ready to be given away.

Here's some of what will be included in the free hurricane cleanup kits:

  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Tarps
  • Meals Ready to Eat
  • Hygiene Kits
  • Snack Packs
  • Water and much more

If you'd like to pick up a hurricane cleanup kit, you can do so starting at noon on Friday at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, located at 1002 E. Palm Avenue in Tampa. The event will run until 6 p.m. or until supplies run out.
