Universal Orlando announces 2 new space-themed resorts

Guests can "step onto planets" at the resorts come early 2025, Universal Orlando Resort said.

Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort are set to open their doors on January 21 and Feb. 25 respectively.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is again planning to expand its universe with two new space-themed resorts planted next to its upcoming Universal Epic Universe park, according to a news release.

Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort are set to open their doors on January 21 and Feb. 25, 2025, respectively, the release said.

Various restaurant options will be available for families, as well as 10,000 square-foot pools and 1,500 guestrooms starting at $147 per night.

Accented with “terrestrial greens and golds” and “spaceship-styled” windows, the resorts will invite guests to game rooms, 1,000 square-foot recreation rooms and access to both theme parks the resort has to offer.

This is a 3D rendering of Universal Stella Nova Resort, set to offer cosmic-inspired food and beverage outlets, according to a press release.

Guests staying at either hotel will be granted Early Park Admission to the park’s additional attractions including Universal Volcano Bay and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter an hour before the park opens, the release said.

Universal Orlando is also set to release more information about their Epic Universal Park in the coming months.

Families can now book a reservation at either resort.
