TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa International Airport is bustling with travelers as the Thanksgiving holiday rush begins.
With an estimated 80,000 passengers passing through daily on peak days, airport officials are emphasizing the use of technology to enhance the travel experience.
“You can actually order your concessions ahead of time,” said Ben Robbins, VP of TPA operations, highlighting conveniences like online food orders through the website, reserving parking space and using express drop-off zones.
Passengers are advised to arrive early and plan ahead to minimize stress.
“It’s supposed to be fun, so let’s try to keep it as fun as possible,” remarked traveler Kate Johnson, heading to Chicago with three young children in tow.
TSA also recommends checking TSA.gov for guidelines on permitted items to ensure a smooth security process.
