Orlando International Airport will now stay open through Dorian

Orlando International Airport said it would no longer be closing Monday ahead of Hurricane Dorian.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Here is some good news for travelers flying into Orlando this holiday weekend.

Orlando International Airport tweeted it would no longer be closing Monday ahead of Hurricane Dorian.

The airport originally planned on closing ahead of Hurricane Dorian out of an abundance of caution.

Now that the storm's predicted track has shifted, the airport has decided to stay open.
