PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — MSC Cruises is bringing another one of its luxury ships to the Sunshine State — a move that will offer Florida travelers more options for an extended Caribbean vacation.

The MSC Grandiosa is set to sail into its new Florida home of Port Canaveral in December 2025. And with two ships docked in central Florida, MSC will offer a wider selection of cruises.

The MSC Seashore, which came to Port Canaveral in 2021, will continue to sail 3-and-4-night cruises to Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line's private island in the Bahamas.

The MSC Grandiosa will offer alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

Where the MSC Grandiosa sails

Eastern Caribbean: Nassau (The Bahamas), Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (The Bahamas), Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Charlotte Amalie (USVI)

Western Caribbean: Nassau (The Bahamas), Cozumel (Mexico), Costa Maya (Mexico), George Town (Cayman Islands), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Falmouth (Jamaica) and Belize City (Belize)

"We know people sailing from Central Florida want options, and we’re delighted to offer them two of our most modern and glamorous ships with itineraries that will appeal to everyone from first-time to seasoned cruisers," Rubén A. Rodríguez, the president of MSC Cruises USA, said.

Being one of MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia-plus class ships, the Grandiosa will be the company's largest vessel to homeport at Port Canaveral when it arrives next year. The 1,094-foot long, 141-foot wide ship features 2,421 staterooms for a full fleet of guests who will enjoy:

  • 10 restaurants, including Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Hola! Tacos & Cantina, Kaito Sushi, Kaito Tepanyaki and L’Atelier Bistrot
  • Five pools and nine hot tubs
  • Wild Forest Aquapark
  • Broadway-style theater and Carousel Lounge for nightly entertainment
  • 323-foot-long Galleria Grandiosa promenade with an LED sky screen
  • MSC Aurea Spa
  • MSC Yacht Club, an "exclusive sanctuary" with 24-hour butler and concierge service, a private pool and sundeck, a high-end restaurant and a dedicated lounge.
