MIAMI — You’ll only need the “bare necessities” on this trip; clothes are not required.
Bare Necessities Tour and Travel announced its “newest nude cruise” to Floridians willing to “double-dip with a brand new travel partner” next year.
The company’s “Big Nude Boat,” the Norwegian Pearl, will leave Miami in February 2025 on an 11-day cruise through the Caribbean to destinations in Puerto Rico and The Bahamas, where a private island awaits its voyagers, according to its news release.
Travelers wanting to venture out from the private island can experience Dominica and St. Lucia, San Juan, Martinique and St. Maarten, the release said.
Participants can snorkel, shop, kayak, zipline and more on land and dream about the specialty restaurants, nude outdoor dining and entertainment awaiting them when they come back to the ship.
The ship does have its own set of decorum rules, such as only allowing nudity when the ship is at sea or anchored in a port.
Lingerie and bathrobes are also prohibited — casual attire covering the whole body is preferred, especially within the ship’s dining rooms. Photos and videos of others without their consent are also prohibited. If cruise staff happens to catch someone trying to record or take pictures in one of its “no photo zones,” the photo-capturing device will be confiscated on the spot, according to the company.
More rules and additional information are posted on the Bare Necessities website.
