Florida residents can get a trip to Disney World for $59 a day, but only if you do this

The special pricing comes with the purchase of a four-day ticket bought in advance.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A deal at Walt Disney World is often a good reason to find time to take a vacation, and deals on ticket prices can be the biggest sell to get you out to the park.

Sometimes, those deals come with a catch, whether it be blackout dates or something hidden in the small text. Before you make plans to head over to Magic Kingdom and get your specially-priced ticket, here's everything you need to know about Disney's special offer.

Disney World is offering Florida residents a ticket that costs $59 per day. That ticket is a $235 4-Day Discover Disney Ticket, which breaks down to $59 for each day you would be at the park. Of course, that pricing is without considering taxes applied at checkout.

The four-day ticket does have some flexibility. The company said they "can be used on consecutive or nonconsecutive days," so you don't have to go four days in a row. However, you must purchase the ticket in advance of your trip, not at the gate. That way, you will pre-select each date of your visit with the four-day ticket.

For reference on how good of a deal this is, someone who doesn't live in Florida will have to pay $396 for a four-day ticket, or $99 per day.

That means as a Florida resident, the special pricing saves you $161 total or about $40 a day.

Special pricing is also offered for a three-day pass under the same guidelines. That ticket costs $219 total, or $73 per day, a deal of about 20 percent off the non-Florida resident cost.
