TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay residents will soon be able to pack their bags and fly to two new destinations with this one of the newer, low-cost domestic airlines.

Breeze Airways will soon begin two new routes to Pensacola, Florida, and Bangor, Maine, as part of its recent expansion of services, a news release said. One-way Pensacola trips will be on Mondays and Fridays starting June 28, while Bangor trips will be on the same days starting Oct. 4.

Flight prices will start at $49 and $99, respectively.

Upcoming routes to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Orange County, California; will all bolster the airline's total nonstop destinations from Tampa to 23 total.

The airline recently announced its new loyalty program “Breezy Rewards,” which rewards fliers with BreezePoints that can be used toward having no change or cancel fees, user-friendly booking and flight management tools and free family seating.

Breeze began service in 2021 and has since been ranked as one of the U.S.' best domestic airlines by Travel + Leisure magazine. The company offers a mix of more than 150 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 56 cities in 29 states, according to the news release.
