TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay Lightning fans will have a swift lift on the water to home playoff games as the team pushes for a fourth Stanley Cup.
Cross Bay Ferry is now offering extended service for Tampa Bay Lightning fans during this NHL playoff season, according to its news release.
Excluding games scheduled on May 7-8, Cross Bay Ferry will offer rides for fans traveling to Lightning home games or Lightning Plaza parties on gamedays throughout the 2024 NHL playoffs.
Rides will still run from Wednesdays through Sundays but will open service on Monday and Tuesday starting at 4:45 p.m. in St. Petersburg for home games during those days, the release said. Even if games run to overtime, the ferry will operate "until 30 minutes after the final whistle."
Ferry tickets for adults are $12 per one-way trip while tickets for seniors, college students and the military are a dollar cheaper at $11.
