TAMPA, Fla. — Travelers at Tampa International Airport will soon have a new destination to take off to later this year.
Breeze Airways announced it will offer a new, nonstop service from TPA to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania starting Oct. 18.
The airline says fares to the new destination start at $79 one-way, if purchased by July 1 and if you're traveling by Jan. 7, 2025.
The announcement comes a month after Breeze introduced three other routes from TPA, including Orange County, California, Myrtle Beach and Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina.
There will also be more nonstop routes coming to Tampa, as the airline will soon launch two more, along with a new BreezeThru route. Those include:
- Pensacola (Mondays and Fridays, starting June 28)
- Bangor, Maine (Mondays and Fridays, starting October 4)
- Manchester, New Hampshire (One stop/no change of plane BreezeThru service, Thursdays and Sundays, starting September 5).
Breeze Airways also announced its new "Destination Dupes" campaign, which offers 35% off roundtrip fares by using the code "DUPE."
