Tampa, Florida -- Beginning Tuesday afternoon/evening, Nov. 18, lanes were reduced on US 41 to a single lane in the northbound and southbound direction between Palm River Road and Acline Drive.
This includes the SR 60 intersection. Turn lanes at the SR 60 intersection will also be limited and reduced in length.
Access to local businesses and the Selmon Expressway will be maintained.
This traffic pattern is necessary to remove and replace the Palm River Bridge decks and reconstruct the SR 60 intersection. The asphalt in the SR 60 intersection is being removed and replaced with concrete pavement to better handle the heavy truck traffic in the area.
It is expected the limited lane configuration will be in place in this area for over a year. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays during peak travel times.
