ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announced that the suspension of tolls implemented for Hurricane Milton will remain in place until this Monday, Oct. 14.
Gov. DeSantis suspended tolls statewide originally to give Floridians time to evacuate before Hurricane Milton. Now, FDOT says pre-determined facilities will remain suspended as residents return to their homes and businesses.
The following tolls are suspended effective 10:30 a.m. on Monday and are expected to reopen on Oct. 14 depending on conditions:
West Florida (Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties):
- Suncoast Parkway
- I-4 Connector
- Selmon Expressway
- Veterans Expressway
- Gateway Expressway
- 275 Express
- Pinellas Bayway
- Sunshine Skyway Bridge
Central Florida (Osceola, Orange, Lake, Seminole, Sumter and Polk Counties):
- Turnpike Mainline between I-75 (MP 309) and Canoe Creek Service Plaza (MP 229)
- S.R. 453
- S.R. 451
- Wekiva Parkway
- Apopka Expressway
- Beachline Expressway
- Central Florida GreeneWay
- East-West Expressway
- I-4 Express
- Western Beltway
- Osceola Parkway
- Poinciana Parkway
- Southern Connector Extension
- Seminole Expressway Polk Parkway
Collier and Broward Counties:
- Alligator Alley
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is urging travelers and evacuees to check the Florida 511 website for the latest traffic conditions and potential road and bridge closures as weather conditions continue to be monitored.
