Here are the traffic alerts we're seeing across the Tampa Bay area on Friday, Nov. 22:
- 6:30 a.m.: A crash on Highway 17 at Mirror Terrace in Winter Haven caused a power pole to fall and power lines to land in the roadway. The roadway is shut down and traffic signals in the area are affected. Highway 17 from Avenue M NW at Havendale Boulevard will be shut down until further notice.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and if they encounter an intersection without working signals, treat it as a four-way stop. The driver did not suffer serious injuries.
