ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Traffic was building Thursday night on the Skyway Bridge due to a car fire.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched just after 7 p.m. to the Skyway Bridge North Toll Plaza.
While the roadway has reopened, traffic was backed up for several hours in the southbound lanes.
