TAMPA, Fla. — Drivers who use Interstate 275 might have stumbled upon some traffic after a portion of the interstate was closed in the downtown Tampa area Wednesday evening.
Just before 6 p.m., police officers responded to a car fire on I-275, the Tampa Police Department said in a media alert. All northbound lanes of I-275 near Interstate 4 were closed for the investigation. However, the lanes were reopened just before 6:30 p.m.
No one was hurt as a result of the fire.
