WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — A portion of a busy Winter Haven road was shut down Monday afternoon due to a downed power line.
Lucerne Park Road was closed in both directions at Avenue V Northeast.
"This is a very heavily travelled [sic] roadway and end-of-the-workday traffic will be greatly impacted," the Winter Haven Police Department wrote in a news release.
Police said drivers should find alternate routes until at least 6:30 p.m.
