POLK CITY, Fla. — Multiple car crashes Monday evening in Polk County led to lane closures on Interstate 4.
Traffic cameras showed heavy traffic on all three lanes on I-4 at County Road 532 near Davenport.
Officials told 10 Tampa Bay multiple car crashes, including at least one hit-and-run, are the reason for the backed-up traffic and lane closures.
No serious injuries have been reported.
Drivers who may be in or heading to the area are encouraged to take alternate routes.
