ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A serious crash temporarily shut down the southbound lanes of I-275 at 54th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP, the St. Petersburg Police Department and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue are reportedly investigating the crash on Wednesday night. Troopers say traffic was being funneled off the interstate onto 54th Avenue South.
At this time, there's no word on how many vehicles were involved in the crash, or injuries to drivers or passengers.
