ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A rollover crash on the Howard Frankland Bridge caused delays Wednesday evening for commuters heading into Tampa.
The crash happened just after 5:20 p.m. on northbound Interstate 275 on the Pinellas County side of the bridge.
Traffic cameras show a damaged guardrail and a silver sedan turned on its side in the construction area off the side of the bridge.
The Florida Highway Patrol says there are injuries in the crash but did not specify how many people were hurt.
Three northbound lanes of I-275 were shut down on the Howard Frankland Bridge but have since reopened.
