TAMPA, Fla. — A crash along the Howard Frankland Bridge on Interstate 275 caused major delays for commuters, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The crash happened around 6:40 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the bridge along northbound I-275, causing drivers heading into Tampa to come to a near-stop.
Traffic cameras showed traffic slowly inching along for some time. FDOT reported at the time three lanes were at one time blocked.
Florida Highway Patrol reported injuries along with the crash, but details about the crash are limited.
