SARASOTA, Fla. — A Sarasota road is now reopen after crews spent remove two trees that fell that fell across a curve in the street.
Officials say this happened Sunday in the area of Indian Beach Drive and Bay Shore Road.
An arborist told 10 Tampa Bay that recent heavy rainfall saturated the ground, causing a 200-year-old oak tree to fall into a rotted laurel oak.
The road reopened sometime on Monday.
