SARASOTA, Fla. — Police say people driving on John Ringling Parkway at New Pass bridge heading on and off Longboat Key should expect delays after a power line fell down on the road.
The road is blocked and the power line remains active as it lies across the road, the Sarasota Police Department said on their Twitter account.
Law enforcement encourages people to not exit the vehicle until the problem is resolved.
Florida Power and Light responded to the scene.
