HOMOSASSA, Fla. — A deadly crash has closed the northbound lanes on U.S. Highway 19 in Homosassa, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Little is known about what led up to the crash, but the northbound lanes are closed between West Dixieland Street and West Highland Street while troopers and Citrus County Sheriff's Office deputies divert traffic, the sheriff's office said.
Only one southbound lane is open between West Dixieland and West Highland, according to the agency. Drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
