TAMPA, Fla. — A crash killed 2 people and shut down North 50th Street near East Busch Boulevard Sunday morning, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Tampa police said both northbound and southbound N. 50th Street were closed from East Busch Boulevard south to the Garden Place Apartments entrance. That road has now reopened to traffic.
Little is known about what led up to the crash, which only involved one vehicle, according to police.
